Everything you'd want to know about how MindMyLine answers your calls, captures your leads, and gets you set up. Still stuck? Call (647) 693-6676 and talk to me directly.

The basics

What is MindMyLine?

An AI that catches the calls you miss, on the number you already have. At the entry level it texts the caller back and gets the job details. Above that it answers the call live, and at the top it books jobs and transfers the urgent ones. Built and managed for you, so you're never handed software and left to figure it out.

How does it actually work?

Your missed calls forward to your MindMyLine number, behind the number you already advertise. On Lead Capture the caller gets a text back in seconds and the AI works out what they need by text. On Essential and up the AI picks up and has the conversation out loud instead. Either way, the details land on your phone before you've checked it. You keep working.

Who is it for?

Any business that lives and dies by the phone. It's built for the trades, plumbers, electricians, HVAC, roofers, landscapers, painters, contractors, and any owner-operator who's on a job and can't always pick up.

The AI experience

Will callers know they're talking to an AI?

Yes. It sounds natural and gets people a clear answer fast, but it always tells them it's an AI. I'd rather build trust than pull a trick, so there's no pretending to be a person.

Does it sound robotic?

No. It's a real conversation, not a script being read at someone. Callers get a fast, clear answer without the awkward pauses and phone-tree runaround people expect from automated systems. Don't take my word for it, call one of the demo lines and hear it yourself.

Can I make it sound like my business?

Yes. I set up the greeting, the tone, and the questions it asks around the way your business actually works. It should sound like part of your team, not a generic bot. You approve everything before it goes live.

Can I hear what the AI said to my customers?

Yes, every word. From Essential up, every call is recorded and transcribed and saved for you. Listen to any call or skim the transcript whenever you want. You never have to take the AI's word for how a call went. Lead Capture is text, not voice, so you already have the whole conversation on your phone.

Calls & leads

What happens to my calls and leads?

Every call gets caught and written down. The caller's name, number, reason, and how urgent it is get captured and sent to you right away, so you always know who to call back first. On Pro, the call can be handed straight to you or your crew when someone needs a real person right now.

Will it quote prices or promise things to my customers?

It never quotes a price. Not on any tier, not over the phone, not over text. Trades pricing is never one number, it always depends on the job, so the AI gets the details and you give the number. As for booking, nothing goes in your calendar unless you're on Pro and you switched that on, and then it only offers the slots you made available. If you've been burned by an AI that booked jobs on its own and made a mess of your schedule, this is built the opposite way.

What if the AI can't handle something?

You set the rules. If a caller needs a person, has an emergency, or asks something outside what the AI handles, it can transfer the call to you, take a detailed message, or fire off a text alert. Your call, every time.

Does it answer after hours and weekends?

Yes, 24/7. Evenings, weekends, holidays, all get the same greeting and the same handling as a 9-to-5 call. After-hours calls that need you get logged and texted over for first thing next morning.

How does it handle emergencies?

It catches emergency calls by what's being said (active leak, no heat, lockout, that kind of thing), confirms the situation, grabs the location and callback info, and gets it to you fast. Routine calls in the same window just get handled normally.

What about spam and robocalls?

It screens out the junk, silent calls, robocallers, off-topic sales pitches, before it ever reaches you. Real callers go through like normal. You stop getting interrupted by garbage while you're on a job.

Can it handle more than one call at a time?

Yes. Unlike a person, it answers every call at once. No busy signal, no hold music, no "please call back later." Two calls come in together, both get answered.

Pricing

How much does it cost? Is there a setup fee?

Flat monthly pricing in Canadian dollars: Lead Capture $99/mo, Essential $199/mo, Pro $349/mo. Each level includes everything below it and they all run on the same phone number. No setup fee, no overage charges, no surprise bills, and no charge to switch you on.

Do I get charged for busy months?

No. The price is the price. A brutal week in a cold snap costs the same as a quiet one in July. No overage charges, ever.

What if I only want the text-back?

That's Lead Capture, $99 a month. Missed calls get a text back, the AI works out what the job is, voicemail comes to you as a transcript, and there's a chat bubble for your website if you want it. No app, no dashboard, no logins. If you decide later you want those calls answered out loud instead, that's Essential at $199 on the same number. Upgrade whenever, nothing gets rebuilt.

Does it give quotes?

Never. Not the text-back, not the chat, not the receptionist. Trades pricing is never one number, it depends on the job, so the owner quotes every job. The AI's job is to get you the details fast enough that you can quote first.

Is there a contract?

No. Month to month, cancel anytime. No setup fee, no cancellation fee. I'd rather earn it every month than lock you in.

What's the difference between urgency triage and call transfer?

They're two levels of the same job: getting urgent calls to you. Urgency triage (every tier) means every alert is flagged by how urgent the call is, so you know who to ring back first. Call transfer (Pro) means a caller who needs a person right now gets patched live to you or whoever's on call, and if nobody answers, the full details come through flagged as urgent so the lead never drops.

How is this different from an answering service?

A human answering service runs limited hours, handles one call at a time, knows nothing about your business, and still makes you follow up on every message. MindMyLine works around the clock, answers every call at once, knows your business, and sends you the lead ready to go. For a fraction of the price, with no sick days and no turnover.

Getting started

How fast can I get set up?

Most clients are live within a day or two. I handle the whole build, the voice, the script, the testing. The one thing we do together is a short screen-share call to point your missed calls at your new number. It takes a few minutes and I stay on the line until we've tested it.

Do I need a new number?

No. You keep the number on your truck, your van, your cards, and your Google listing. Missed calls forward to MindMyLine behind the scenes and nothing changes on the customer's end. Moving up a tier never changes it either. Nothing gets reprinted, nothing gets rebuilt.

What if I want to change something after we go live?

Your business changes, your receptionist should too. New service, new hours, tweaking how it handles certain calls, that's all part of the deal at no extra charge. And you're not filing a ticket, you call or email.

What if I'm just starting out with no reviews or big reputation yet?

Doesn't matter. The fastest way to lose a new customer is to not pick up. MindMyLine makes sure every caller reaches someone and gets handled like a pro from day one, which is exactly when you can't afford to look small. Answering every call is how you build the reputation.

Still have a question?

Tell me about your business and I'll get your line covered.

We'll reach out the same day.
